Today we travelled to our cottage, it was a white one. On the way to the cottage I did driving down the track and there were two gates and one was open and one was shut and Katie had to get out and do the gates cause it was her turn. On the way back when we were going to the pub it was my turn to open the gates they were both open and I didn't get to open one of them.

When we got to the cottage we did exploring then we went down the track to do paddling in the river. Me and Daddy and Katie did splashing in the river, Helen didn't she did standing on the bank like a boring person There were three adventure people and one boring person.
Today we went climbing up a mountain, called "Pavy Ark" First I was the leader up "Skickle Gill" to the lake which is called "Skickle Tarn".

Then we scrabbled up "Jakes Rake", I thought that was the best bit and Katie was the leader for that. I wish I was the leader for that.

Then we went on to the top of "Pavy Ark" and had lunch. I was the leader to "Harisson Stickle", that was the tallest mountain that we went up all day.

Then we walked down, first Daddy was the leader, then Katie all the way down to the stream. We paddled in the stream, I love paddling in the stream.
Then we went to the pub, I had and Ice lolly and it was strawberry milk, and it was the same as Katie. Helen had Coca-Cola, Daddy had bear. Then we went to the cottage and write lists of who was the queen or king of what. Then we did my diary.

On the way to where we were going I did driving the car, I drove though the river. In the car we went to a Roman Fort, its called "Hardknott" we got there on a steep windy road. From the fort we could see everything around, so the Romans could kill people who tried to get in that they didn't like.
Next we went to the beach, the tide was in and it was all pebbles. Then we had lunch, and by that time there was sand, that the sea had been covering up. Then we went jumping the waves and building a sandcastle. It was good fun at the beach. I got really mucky, that was brilliant fun.
The we went to Ambleside and we brought postcards and badges and books at the shops. Then we went to our cottage for a shower. Then we went to the pub for tea. My badge says "I've climbed the Langdale Pikes"
Today we got out of bed. Helen and Katie stayed in Helens bed so Daddy dragged them out of H's sleeping bag.
After breakfast we went on a hunt for a letter box. H posted the postcards. Then we went Rock Climbing on Black Crag. Daddy had the heaviest, but H had the biggest Rucksack. I thought the climbs were difficult but the rock was very grippy on the first one. On the second one we did two pitches.

From the top of that we walked to the top of Pike-O-Blisco, I was the leader all the was. We could see out car and "Pavy Ark" from the top.

Katie was the leader all the way back to the car. At "Red Tarn" I fell over and hurt both my knees and hands. I thought I was bleeding everywhere but it was red mud because the mud was red. I was bleeding on my left knee only. Katie fell in the slop and got her shoe and sock mucky, bit I did not.
At this second, we are sitting here at the pub doing my diary.
On the way to the cottage on the other days we saw a big rabbit , and it was there every day and the rabbit was at the top of the hill behind the house. So we decided to find the rabbit, when we got there it was a silly holly tree and that was our rabbit a silly holly tree.

Then we climbed to the top of the hill with H being the leader. The climbing was a bit boggy and a bit rocky. At the top of the hill was a mine, a slate mine. There was a man working the slate mine, only one all by his self.
The we walked down and down and down to the cottage, it was hours walking.
After lunch we played Katie's bubble machine. Then we went to collect slates. Then we went paddling and swimming in the river. Katie and I did swimming with daddy holding us, but H didn't even get in. We made a dam under one of the bridges the other one was already being dammed, which made ours harder as the water was running faster. You had to find small heavy stones.
Then we came home to the cottage and we played monopoly. Katie went to bed and I stayed up later. Last night my tooth came out and Daddy put it into a matchbox we put it into my suitcase.
In the Lake District the most fun thing for me was going to the beach. The best fun thing for Nelly was Mummy got home so I could have a hug and kiss. I loved our holiday I wish we could come again.

Today we left our cottage and we travelled all day. When we got to bed it was way past my and Katie's bedtime.
On the way travelling we stopped, and can you guess what we did? We did skiing. We have been climbing up mountains now we went whizzing down them. It was great fun, I loved skiing down the hill.
I was worn out after that day, so I tried to fall straight to sleep, but I couldn't cause Katie kept wiggling to much so I thought she was goanna push me out of bed.
Me and Daddy did springing out of bed, the Cunnies didn't spring out of bed. Then we got dressed and went down for breakfast. Yum Yum in my tum. For breakfast I had some egg and beans and toast and ketchup. And after that I had some melon, do you think that is yummy to you? I do.
Then we put our pretty dresses on, and then we went to the wedding. I took loads of photos. The children threw confetti at the bride and groom. I thought who was dressed best at the wedding was Kassumi, the one that was getting married.

Then we went to the Spanish Tappas bar, I thought most of the food was horrid but there was some I liked.

We took Katie to the hotel for a sleep cause she didn't sleep last night, when we got back from letting her sleep we found she was in the bathroom because she had a Storming Norman and didn't sleep.
We went Ice Skating at the "Ali Pali", and when we had finished Ice Skaing ourselves we watched people play Ice Hockey, I thought that was really hard.
